In 2019, the Adams County Sheriff’s Department dealt with about 194 criminal complaints. Around 185 of the complaints were for property crimes. There were 119 cases of larceny-theft, 45 incidents of burglary, and 22 cases of motor vehicle theft in this category. Allegations of aggravated assault resulted in the filing of 4 violent crime complaints.
